We are looking for a bioinformatician to take on integrative analysis of gene-by-environment interaction in lung diseases by leveraging functional genomic data and network models. You will work directly with the PI on initial project development and prototyping. A successful candidate will have familiarity with genomic data and tools, outstanding written and oral English communication skills, and programming experience in Python, R, and Unix.
We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to develop polygenic risk models for individualized prediction of lung disease progression. This will involve development of statistical models and methods leveraging large-scale genetic and health information data. This position will provide outstanding opportunities for continued scientific development and pioneering research with high translational impact. Relevant skills are statistical genetics and knowledge of efficient programming approaches for high-throughput data anlsysis.
